Acclaimed cellist, Naomi Wright is a profoundly unique artist.  She trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the Eastman School in Rochester, NY and has since been enjoying a career as soloist, collaborator, improviser and composer.


As soloist and ensemble player, Naomi has appeared on the world's largest stages. She has worked and recorded with a wide-ranging mix of artists, from Björk and Terrance Blanchard to Oud player Attab Haddad, as well as duo performances with Jaqueline du Pré's pianist, Michael Dussek.

As composer and band leader, Naomi is the founder of The Naomi Wright Band, a trio of cello, Tabla and voice based in improvisation, which performs Naomi's original compositions.

Naomi's critically-acclaimed debut CD, Anima Rising, is available from ASC Records.
